Yeah this. Some kids are sponges. The kid I nannied for learned to talk by people narrating every day life and being read to. It was very natural and effortless. With DS it's constant repetition and effort. I have to set up artificial situations to uses as teaching examples.

Aw, i hope he figures it out soon. Dd was saying dada for months before she figured out mama. He joked about it but it did kinda hurt my feelings. Absolute bliss when she could smile at me and say mama.
