pre-k and k-5

Currently homeschooling my pre-k and I want to start k-5 with her next year, she falls between the public school crack and wouldnt start public school til the next year turning 6 only 8wks after school starts...anyways I am looking for a curriculum unit based teaching style that really takes all subjects and pulls them together...for example the bible, math, letter, science ect all fall into the same unit of study...please tell me there is something out there like this
Thanks

Re: pre-k and k-5

My Father's World combines all of that together, except for the math.

Ex: S is for Sun, science is about the sun, we learn how Jesus is the like the sun, learn a Bible verse about God being like the sun.

Sonlight? That's what we are using in March when DD2 turns 3.

It does, but it's not much and does not really correlate with the lesson (other than making the shape of the themed letter).

Re: pre-k and k-5

My kids attend a private school that uses Abeka. I know of several parents that homeschool and use the curriculum as well. We really like it. Hope this helps.

Heart of Dakota. You would have to see which of the currics your DD would fit into best. I believe everything is combined.

Ditto on Mfw.. it has a gentle intro to math and we use MUS primer.
