How many washes before "use-able" absorbency and optimum absorbency? I got the orange and blue ones from HBC yesterday (I think it was yesterday, if not Friday) and was surprised to see no prep wash instructions on the tag. I got them because they are a popular fitted choice on another board I'm on.
Side note, I don't know if I'm going to like them. They remind me of MotherEase fitteds which, to me, were like soaking wet towels between the legs when they were saturated. I know I wouldn't want a soaking wet towel againist my skin for a couple hours but I'm going to give them the benefit of the doubt...as soon as I get them prep-washed. They went through one hot wash and hot dry already so any additional insight from those that use them would be great!

Re: Tots Bots Bamboozles prepping
They take a lot of prepping ime. I did like 6-8 hot washes before they were usable and it took about a dozen washes before they were fully absorbent. I really like them though! Bamboo seems to wick moisture away a bit better than cotton but neither seems to bother my kiddos.

I used mine for overnight after 2 or 3 hot washes/dry cycles. I add an extra bamboo insert or hemp doubler which helped but we have never had any leaks with our bamboozles. They did become more absorbent after more washes, but were still really absorbent after only a few.
