From my understanding the only difference is the Version 1 does no have stretchy tabs. The Simplex 2.0 slides down on my son's hips even though it's on the tightest setting. I think it's because of the stretchy tabs. I found some Version 1 Simplex on FSOT. Anyone prefer the earlier version?

I have some of both. I like the stretchy tabs for a better fit but don't like that they wick.
