Re: Washing dipes in an he front loader...
Sorry to hijack this thread but I'm just wondering if any of you also have a water softener? We have a water softener plus an HE front loader and I'm wondering if that is why the only thing that seems to work for me is soaking the inserts (which are microfiber) in vinegar water when dirty, the covers I store in the wet bag. I've tried a lot of what you ladies have written, some things working better than others, and I still seemed to have a smell. So I just decided to do things the old fashioned way, the way my mom and MIL stored their dirty dipes, soaking in vinegar water. Plus I can only fill up the detergent to the #1 line (at the most), or my machine will go crazy with suds, which I'm assuming is caused by the softener.
