I'd like to join, too!

Most recently I read Maine by Courtney J Sullivan. I saw the book in Target, read the back and thought it sounded good. Typically I'm a fast reader and should have finished that book in 2 days or less, but no. It was so painfully SLOW and took me close to 2 weeks to finish it. Then, the ending was awful! I was so mad.

Before that I read the 50 Shades trilogy. NMS really, but books 2 and 3 were a little better. Really disliked book 1.

And before that I read the Hunger Games trilogy. Loved it! Well, mostly. Didn't care for book 3 much.

Typically I like the fluffy chic-lit stuff by Elin Hilderbrand or Kristin Hannah.

OOps, finished Game of Thrones a couple weeks ago. I read Wicked Appetite by Janet Evanovich two days ago and am working the the second George Martin-- A Clash of Kings.

A student recommend The Fault in Our Stars by John Green and another lent me The $80 Champion, so I have to fit those in this summer.

Dd and I listen to books on tape in the car and we finished Charlie and the Chocolate Factory

Mamas, I haven't been around much since my vacation at the end of June. I had a horrible family tragedy happen while we were there and I'm just not into the whole internet thing much these days. Please feel free to start these monthly threads without me so that you all can keep on with the chats and reading suggestions! Just copy/paste my first post and start up a new thread for the month and then link it in the previous month's thread so others can find it. I'm also due in the beginning of October, but will hopefully be back around before then. I'm just in a major funk and don't want to deal with things right now. I've gotta get prepped for baby, so I'm not sure when I'll be back and posting regularly again. Thanks for understanding and keeping the threads going.
