Jenn-Medi-cal doesn't over HB here. There is a free standing birth center down the street from that accepts medi-cal, but I have Kaiser now, so that's not an option for me. My midwife at Kaiser had all water home births, so I know she understands. I adore her. I wish she could come to my house and be my doula or something. I'm not sure CNM are allowed to attend home births here. I think it's just LM's are something.

I'm having on heck of a time ordering DD's first birthday outfit. Etsy confusing the daylights out of me. I found a few people that I like their stuff, but one was a little cocky in her emails, and another I'm confused on her price and listings, although her emails are nice! Another is $70, but matches the shoes I wanna get her.

Do you mean CNM or CPM? I'm pretty sure in Cali they all can do homebirths if they choose. Mine was a CNM.

Hilary-She's a CNM. I read somewhere that CNM's can't attend delivery for whatever reason. I'm gonna ask her when I go in next month for my pap.

It's been 2 weeks since I start working out and I've gained almost 1lb! WTF! I'm not doing weights, so it's not like I'm building HULK muscle! Ugh....I need to loose about 30lbs. I'll be fine with 20lbs, but the extra 10 would be extra nice!

Have you tried the my fitness pal app? I've lost 20 lbs on it. It's just calorie counting but it's extremely effective. I just add an exercise of nursing and count it as 300 calories. The first week is pure torture. But after that it gets lots easier. You realize that what you thought was a portion is not and how many calories are actually on things. You can link up with friends too for support.

Ok so help me out ladies

went to bed super late! At about 4am. Took temp at 11:15 when we woke up...97.3 went back to bed until 1:30 & took temp again (thought thermometer was broke because 97.3 is all I have gotten for a few days) temp was 98.0 which should I use?

Yes! I lost weight really well when I was using it. I have been kind of lazy about it lately. The 25 lb challenge is really a great thread too.

Personally I just use the temp that suits my liking

Jenn-And THAT'S why I don't temp!!! LOL. I'd say go with the first temp!

I have the MFP app. I log in my exercise only. I don't track my food on it.
I lost a load of weight when I was 17, but then got pregnant right after I lost all that weight. I did Tae Bo a few times a good and REALLY watched what I ate!

Mamas who have had your cycle return...did you having any signs leading up that your fertility was trying to return or did you do anything different in your daily routine, breastfeeding schedule, etc...?

No. I had fertile symptoms right after I stopped bleeding from the delivery. Then one day out of the blue at 6mpp AF showed up.
