Pavilion or marathon?

DS is still rearfacing but we had been thinking when we turn him we were going to get him a Marathon. The other day we were in Babies R Us and say the Pavilion has a 49in height limit vs the Marathons 45in limit.

Is this a better option for my tall boy?
He'll be 3 in Feb and is already 38 inches.

I'm mobile.... sorry for the typos!

I would get him a Frontier unless you need the Marathon for RFing another child. It would last longer and is a bit cheaper.

Re: Pavilion or marathon?

The frontier has a 5 point harness and can later be used with the seatbelt as a belt-positioning booster. The harness will definitely last longer than a marathon harness, and then you get additional years of use as a booster.
