Yeah, they were originally supposed to be our in Dec from what I recall. I'm still waiting for big changes to Flips in general. (I like ours now, I just predict changes as many of us have on here.)

update:

Swaddlebees wasn't able to give me a clear answer whether the new bamboo flats would be serged or hemmed. And they were unable to give me a release date. Apparently I misunderstood and my store credit they were offering me would be directly with them, not with Kelly's Closet. She also stated if that was not acceptable that she'd assist me in getting a refund from KC. So that is what I've asked her to do. I know there was a thread on here a day or two ago stating that KC would not issue a refund. So I'm hoping with Swaddlebees assisting me that I will be able to get my refund and buy some more imagines instead. I'll keep you all updated.

I got my refund from Kelly's Closet!

And there has been not a single mention of my needing to return the flats. I suppose it would just be a waste of money for them to pay for the return shipping.

So, for those of you who have got to keep the defective flats, what are you doing with them? Wondering if I can have them serged or hemmed by someone else? Has anyone attempted to serge the defective ones themselves? Does it hold?

I was wondering this same thing. I have a friend with a serger and was thinking about asking he to help me repair my damaged ones.
