Can I sub half & half for milk??
I want to make meatloaf for dinner, but I'm out of milk. I want to get it started before DH gets home, so I don't want to wait for him to pick some up, and I really don't feel like dragging the kids out just to get milk right now (lazy, I know
). Would it come out okay if I use half & half instead?? Thanks!

Re: Can I sub half & half for milk??
Sure! I say go for it. I often sub 1/2 qnd 1/2 for milk just because it is so yummy.

Re: Can I sub half & half for milk??
I've never used milk in meatloaf. (or 1/2 and 1/2)
I have substituted 1/2 &1/2 for milk plenty of times in baking or deserts. It has always been fine.

Meatloaf is so forgiving, I be half and half would be great.

Yes it will be fine, it will just have more fat in it.
