Clean something in one of your bathrooms. I am going to clean the vanity/sink in my bathroom.
Cleaned the vanity/sink. It wasn't too terribly bad, but glad I got it done anyway.

Pick a spot in your bedroom and straighten/dust/clean it. I am going to do the top of the white filing cabinet that we have all of the bills/important paperwork in. There's some movies/decor on it that need to be dusted and arranged neatly.

Re: Happy Homemakers - Cleaning Game!

I'm joining late so just going to do the tasks on this page to catch up a bit:

Quote:
Clean something up in your livingroom.
Cleared a space in the middle of the floor and set up some toys so the baby would stay happy while I clean. My living room needs a lot of work, but it's a start!

Quote:
Clean a shower/tub.
Cleaned the bathtub.

Quote:
Pick a bathroom, and clean something.
Wiped down the bathroom counter and cleaned the sink

Quote:
Straighten a bedroom for 5 minutes.
Picked up dirty laundry and swept under the bed. Found 3 bottle lids!!

Quote:
Do something with laundry
Hung up the diapers that were washing and put in a load of towels.

Quote:
Clean off the counters in your kitchen, either clutter, or wipe them down.
Cleared off the counters and scrubbed them down really good with vinegar/water spray

Quote:
Do something with the dishes.
Put away the dishes from the drying rack

Next task: Pick one appliance in the kitchen and clean it inside and out. I'm going to do the microwave.

Pick a "problem" area in your bedroom and clean it up.
Organized and wiped down my vanity

Quote:
Pick up the living room.
Put everything in 'piles' in the general area that they belong. Still needs to all be actually put away...

Quote:
Pick a cabinet, and clean it out.
Cleaned out under the kitchen sink

Quote:
Vacuum a room.
No carpet in our house. I swept and mopped the bathroom.

Quote:
Do something with the laundry.
Moved towels into the dryer, threw in a load of colors

Quote:
Do something in your living room.
Fed the baby and put him to bed. (I'm counting this just because it is time consuming and I'd never stay caught up otherwise :P

Quote:
Clean out a cabinet or drawer in your kitchen.
Wiped out and straightened the 'dry goods' cabinet.

Quote:
Pick a spot in your livingroom, or main area of your house to clean up.
I had boxes that needed to be sorted through on my couch and glider. But no longer! Now we have somewhere to sit!

Next task: Garbages- whichever ones need changing, and to be taken outside. I know for sure my bathroom garbage, kitchen, and laundry room are all overflowing :S

Swept and mopped the hallway. (It's not a room, but it was in bad shape)

Shine a mirror. I'm going to do the bathroom mirror and the bedroom one.

I did my husband's night stand. There was papers and reciepts on there that needed to be put in the 'file away' pile and then dusted the lamp and alarm clock.

Now for a mini-break. Do something that you can do while sitting down. I'm going to make my meal plan for the week and a grocery list.

Took it out from everywhere, trash gets collected tomorrow!

Clean out a shelf in your fridge. Go through it for things that have spoiled or are past their prime. Wipe down the shelf and the walls.

Do something with the laundry. I am going to start a load. Averaging one load a day. Not too bad.
Done. I hope I remember to put them in the dryer, lol.

Pick a toilet, and swish it quickly. I'm going to dump some bleach in mine to make sure it's clean. I hate toilets... lol

Done. Thank GOODNESS. I could almost not close the doors anymore because it was getting too bad.

Vacuum or clean a room in your house. I was supposed to vacuum the boys room yesterday - doing it now.
