Diaper Bag Suggestions
Would like to know what type of bags people carry that are not traditional diaper bags? What do you like about them?
I have a 4 year old and a 1 year old. So just one child is in cloth diapers. I am tired of carrying a traditional diaper bag. Thanks! |

I carry this one:
http://www.thirtyonegifts.com/Catalo.../27/index.html But mine is brown with white dots. Called Pin Dots maybe? I like it because it is roomy, has bunches of pockets, and doesn't zip which is easier and more practical for me. I also like the way it looks. |

I just use a backpack- I love that I can put it on my back to have both arms free!

Re: Diaper Bag Suggestions
We use a very small black messenger-style bag... I think it's Jansport. Literally it's about 8x12 but it's big enough for EITHER one pocket dipe + wipes + small wetbag OR a traditional sposie wallet, plus sippy cup, parent wallet/phone/keys and snacks. We use this unless we are gone all day and think a change of clothes may be needed.
It's nice because: -we already had it -it's totally GN so if DH is taking DD somewhere we don't have to switch bags -messenger style means hands-free - works well with the Boba -outside pockets for cell or whatever -totally useful after the diaper phase

Re: Diaper Bag Suggestions
Maybe the Kinies Classic would be a good one for you? If you do a search on here you'll see several posts about it (check the diaper chatter subforum). They're on sale right now, too!

Re: Diaper Bag Suggestions
Oh, and I also love the Ju-Ju-Be Be Hip as a toddler bag. It's technically a diaper bag, but it is a bit different than their traditional ones. If you like cross-body bags then it's a really great bag, and it's cheaper than their other ones (retails for $80, you can usually find them cheaper... they're on $40 on their website right now, and Amazon has more prints that are also reduced).
