36 weeks is really borderline for lung development.

Yeah, I think the majority is mostly matured but of course not all. I took some magnesium so we'll see. I do have an OB that I can use just in case. I just want baby to wait though!

I'm really glad you took the magnesium. <3 Praying for another week or mature lungs! Make sure you're not dehydrated!

I started getting contractions after a stomach bug around 37 weeks with my second. I drank water and rum. The rum worked like a charm, and it only took 1 shot. After that I could sleep And I was pregnant 4 more weeks.

Does the rum work as a relaxant I'm guessing?

Feeling better today! I was still having contractions last night but after I took the magnesium they seemed to be less intense. I was able to get a good nights sleep and haven't had any contractions this morning I'm sure that episode was probably prepping my cervix a bit but I'm glad things have calmed down for now! Thanks for your support mamas

Re: I'm 36 weeks and....

so glad you didnt go quite yet. most lungs are mature by 36 weeks but its always nice to get to 37 weeks so you can pretty much be sure.
yoru symptoms are exactly how I started with my 35 weeker. and I had him 2 days later. he was 35 weeks and 5 days and tiny but did fine at home birth.

magnesium is the best remedy for early contractions!! for some reason I was too sick to remember to take mine and thus labor continued.
