Re: How many covers are needed for a NB stash full of prefolds/fitteds?

I guess it depends on how often the baby wants to get changed. Our middle child did not tolerate a wet or soiled diaper for very long (and we did EC-light with him as well), we changed him a lot more ofteh then we change our 4 week old now.
I think I have 6 wool covers/pants that fits him now (and some that also will fit him when he gets medium sized), but we could have managed with 3.
We do use cloth only during the day, but I don't think we would have needed many more if we used cloth all day. Maybe 4?

It it is good to have some spare covers in case you have to wash the other wraps, tho. I guess one can be unlucky and get poop on wraps, and sometimes you have to let the wool wraps soak in lanolin for a while..

I like 36 diapers and 8-12 covers for a newborn. some all in ones for mid-night feeding changes doesn't hurt.
