Which is more toxic Lysol or bleach?

At my job we use a bleach solution in a spray bottle. We mix 1gal (milk jug size) with one tsp of bleach. I'ts not overly potent but still gets the job done. I work for the govt. in a day care setting.

Another vote for bleach water. Ot is what I use in my home childcare, and in e ery center i have eorked in as well

Also, the wipes only fully kill if it is visibly wet for I think 5 minutes. So often, they aren't really doing a whole lot anyway unless you keep going back and making the surface wet several times. If you read the label, it will tell you. They also don't kill c diff, which is a bacterial infection my DS got last year. They aren't strong enough. There is no real bleach in Clorox wipes. I was surprised.

Yup, I'm using gloves with any cleaning supplies. I did the bleach and water yesterday and it hardly smelled at all, a lot less than lysol. Also it's so much cheaper. I'm glad to know that it evaporates, it'll save me a lot of time with the big toys by not having to rinse them off. I'm not so worried now. Those who do daycare. When I wash the toys in the tub, how much bleach do I need to put in?

They found that the vinegar bleach solution sterilized all of the surfaces tested within 20 minutes, while a diluted bleach solution alone was only effective in killing all of the spoors on 2.5 percent of the surfaces after 20 minutes.

lysol is an aerosal so its worse for environment and linked to asthma. I would use bleach or a natural product that has antibacterial properties like tea tree.

do not use bleach or any cleaning supplies that can get into skin (use gloves) i have seen what bad can come from pregnant moms who clean as a living- deformed babies

The bleach won't hurt the unborn as far as I know. It doesn't bother most adults lungs as far as i know. 1/4 cup bleach to 1 gallon water. But mostly I put some in a spray bottle and fill the spray bottle up. I'm probably overgenerous with the bleach I would say.
