how have you fixed your defective blueberry bamboo flats?

So if you were one of those who got the defectively serged bamboo flats from blueberry that had the fraying edges, and were refunded or replaced but you got to keep the defective ones, what have you done with the fraying edges?

Serged?
Hemmed?
Just cut off the edges?
What about fray check, would that work?

These are awesome flats besides the obvious shredding, so how have you successfully fixed yours? I'm really hoping someone has been able to serge them with success as I love the idea of a serged flat. Any input would be appreciated!

I took mine to my friend who is owner of the local diaper shop. She serged them up for me lickeddy-split! I'm very happy with them now.

Awesome, thanks! So then serging CAN work with bamboo flats if done correctly? That's what I was really hoping to hear! They are holding up well for you?

i reserged mine too. they are holding up great.

I just cut the extra strands off. They work great.

Mine are sitting in a pile waiting for something to happen. I'm going to see if my mom can serge them. She already suggested she'd probably rather hem them, though. We'll see. I just don't want to lose too much size.
