We ha be a Butter Bears fitted that works great on my toddler. We use either Tootiewilly or Bumby woolies over it.

We use goodmama fitteds with a fleece cover, or a goodmama goodnight (fleece cover built in) we have some PUL sensitivity so I try and keep breathe able stuff on him!

Lately we've been loving a large GMD flat folded like a prefold with either a large Thirsties hemp insert or a trifolded newborn prefold laid on top and another large GMD flat padfolded on top of that, fastened on with Boingo's, and under a Disana wool cover. Pretty bulky but efficient and easy to clean overnight toddler pee out of.
