Re: CVS-Week of Jan 13.

Cvs coupon ing is super easy! All you do is look for things that get you ECB (extra care bucks) that you ALSO have coupons for. For example, this week right guard is on sale for $3 per deodorant, I have $1/2, and if I spend $10 (before coupons) I get $3 back. And you can use that towards another purchase.

The really good sales happen when they say you only have to buy 4 products and you gt $10-$20 ECB. None this week but look out for those!!

Thanks. I'm trying to build my stash of coupons... It has been a really slow process because it seems I DON'T use more products than I do.

I search papers, look on products we use, call and email companies, but 2 or 3 coupons don't seem to be helping much

Re: CVS-Week of Jan 13.

If you find a coupon in the paper that is good that week, go buy 2 or 3 more papers. Shoppers has a deal, 2 papers for $3.

What kind of products do you use? I know some people only use WAHM shampoo bars ( for example) so they will not buy shampoo on sale unless it was a complete moneymaker. I get a daily paper, use internet printable coupons (IPs) and will send away for booklets- I have never seen such a great deal yet that I would have to buy multiple papers or use ebay or a clipping service. But if you are brand specific to something then it makes sense to do those things.

Same deal as the ECB- spend x amount and you get a cash card. The bonus is they do not expire like ECB, so you can keep them for whenever plus they can be used on tax. Downside is they do not reduce your taxable base like ECB. Guess it depends on what kind of state you live in if they are beneficial to you. I like have a cash card since I can get my oop low/nothing with it paying for my tax.
