DH and I have been using the WD method for years, and its worked perfectly! Well we have a moment of insanity I guess, and didn't practice that

my LMP was January 2nd, and I have 24 day cycles. This "event" happened on Friday (1/11) early am. I don't chart or anything.....am I going to have to POAS next week? I don't remember any o pains like normal, but had a very large "blob" of thick cm yesterday, and totally dry today. Could that have been ovulation yesterday maybe? I'm so nervous now because I start my new job in 2 weeks

The same thing happened to us last month. I wasn't really worried because it took months to conceive both of my boys. I thought surely it wouldn't happen the first time... but it did. I'm pregnant & due in September. It took a few days to sink in but now I'm excited. Try not to worry though. Remember everything has to work out perfectly to conceive a baby. There's a good chance that AF will show up. Just test and pray that everything works out. It always does in the end.

Sounds like you probably DTD right around the time you would have Oed if you ovulate smack dab in the middle of your cycle but without temping/charting/OPKs no one can say for certain. If the blob of CM was ovulation that would give you an LP of, what, 11 days? Either way, the dates are a pretty close estimation to each other for O so I think it's definitely possible you DTD during your fertile time.

I'll be stalking you to see what the results are next week!

That's what I was thinking

I'm just going to keep on hoping "it can't happen with only one time"......and hope it doesn't! I'm fine either way. We weren't planning anymore, and the timing would be BAD with the new job, but it will all work out.

When should I test? I've always gotten positives at least 4 days early with my other LO's. Oh, and I usually spot 3 days before my actual flow starts. So that would be the 23rd (spotting starts)....possible to find out by the 21st or would that be too early?
