Re: Dairy Elimination
Goat milk may be okay. It takes 2 to 3 weeks for dairy to be eliminated from the body. After a cleansing period and if you are sure you a free of any dairy, you can try goat milk or goat yogurt (yum!)

Re: Dairy Elimination
There is hope! For now, I'm planning on stocking up on Rice Dream ice cream or any other rice dessert product!

I was looking for rice ice cream and reading labels. Both brands our store carried contained soy! You have to read labels in everything. Stuff you would never dream would have dairy does. Why they need dairy products in every single bag of flavored chips I don't understand. Once you ad in a few more things it gets much easier. I started making my own sweet breads as desert. It's the only thing that kept my sanity. Last edited by mommy24babes; 01-16-2013 at 08:57 PM. |

It's hard at first but it does get easier as you go on and find foods that your little one will tolerate. Feel free to pm me. |

Re: Dairy Elimination
My son had painful gas. I found a homeopathic remedy then I learned about the study that cut out cows milk and gave pro-biotic drops cutting a majority of issues. Don't use the pro-biotic drops very often now but did until we got it under control.

Re: Dairy Elimination

And, I find that the my past pediatrician was not help at all in this matter- he just prescribed hydrocortisone to make the rash go away. How many days do I need to cut out diary before I can see the effects of it being eliminated from my diet? Some kind of elimination schedule would really help. Any suggestions?
