Yeah, I was talking to hubby about our ultrasound and casually said I would be about halfway through the pregnancy at that point...then realized what I just said. And that ultrasound is only 3 weeks away tomorrow!!!

With DD, I was about 10 wks when I found out I was prego so her pregnancy seemed to fly by. With DS I got my BFP about 4 days before AF was due & he was born @ 41w6d, so I felt like I was prego forever. This one REALLY seems to be taking forever. Thanks to my overly sensitive b@@bs I got my BFP exactly 9 days after DTD (right @ 3 wks). It's going to feel like a full on year by the time this LO gets here.

I have been planning for this baby since DS was born 4 years ago (though he/she was conceived in July 2007 so maybe I have been planning since then). I went back for this baby in September 2009, but got diagnosed with cancer instead. I went back again for my next child in April 2012 and did 2 transfers before taking a month break and doing this transfer on November 12, 2012. I have had a long time to get ready for this baby, but honestly with my history it really doesn't start in earnest till after 24 weeks (when I delivered my triplets).

Actually for my son, my DH was laid off when I was 30 weeks. He found a job 2 weeks later (and started it 3 days after we closed on this house... 2 weeks later), however at the time we had a stroller, a small handful of boy clothes, a convertible carseat, and a few newborn diapers. That was it. It was all left over from the triplets. I didn't start getting things for him, till DH got his next job and we moved. I basically had 4 weeks to "nest" and move. Oh and tearing out the carpet here was in there too. We took out all the carpet in the house and had wood floors exposed when DS came home.

I think what freaked me most about this is I feel like I should be more prepared this time. I don't know why. It isn't like anything can change. DS wasn't deprived AT ALL. Also I have most things I need except for a carseat and I can get that overnighted on diapers.com. I think I am getting mommy neurotic already!

I think this pregnancy feels faster than with DS just because I'm so busy with him already. And that's still factoring in that I found out about this one 10 DPO and with DS it was a full week later than that.

I hear you all on how fast this is going! When I was sicker, the days dragged but I was always surprised when a week went by. Now at 15 weeks, I'm finally doing a little better, but the next month is going to FLY!
-We close on our new house on Monday.
-We have to get our current house on the market ASAP.
-I'm hosting my friend's baby shower 2 weeks from Saturday.
-My mom's wedding is 3 weeks from Saturday.
-aaand I have 3 kids at home ages 6, 4, & almost 2 (on 1/30! so we have a birthday party coming up, too!)
whew! just thinking about it makes my head spin. at least I can drink water again without throwing up! woohoo!
I figure our u/s will be around Feb 20th. Half.way. Halfway?! no way!

Wow you are busy!!! I don't have my 20 week ultrasound till March 15. But I think I will have 2 before then so that is good. Technically half way is week ahead of that too (not going past 38 weeks).

AFM - This baby flipped forward in my pelvis. This is a good and bad thing. Now the placenta which was on top is now forward so all the wonderful kicks that I felt all the time before this, are now gone! (This is good because the baby can't grow up my back!) However I did feel kicks today in church. It was too the point that it scared me. Late DD would do this. She would have a PARTY inside me when we were at church. We leave church and she would sleep the rest of the day. I always said when she was inside me that I would end up giving her to God. Lesson learned, be careful what you wish for! So this is making me think we have a little girl inside me. I guess time will tell.

Yesterday we made our first trip to BRU to look at things needed for this kid. What I learned is nothing I want is at BRU. I think with my age I am getting more picky!

Even if this one is a girl the only thing we will truly need is more diapers. If only I had known just how little babies NEED before DS was born.

If this one is a boy I only need diapers, especially newborn. But if it's a girl I'll need to get clothes too. :P
