I haven't decided on an outfit yet. I am thinking something simple though. I've done the whole head-to-toe outfit and basically they actually did not look very cute or comfortable in what I choose. I think I am going to do a very simple onesie with an applique of some kind on it.

I did make this today for our ride home. It's a carseat blanket that swaddles them in. I am hoping it isn't an 80 degree spring this year and more like the 50-60 degree spring that we usually have so I can use it. If not, we'll use it in the fall.

We'll probably be naked (diped) for awhile then a cozy sleeper outfit while we snuggle in bed. Im so excited about that part of my homebirth.

All the pieces of baby's coming home outfit came in the mail! Gonna buy Joey a matching shirt with a periwinkle short sleeve that says "Big Brother". Had the footies made custom on here by AutumnRose.

Not sure what the first outfit will be. I have some onesies that are super adorable that I bought. First dipe will probably be one the Lil Joeys I have because they will be super cute for pics.

Ahhh...This and packing the actual hospital bag are my biggest areas of over-thinking. I was going to try for another Homebirth, but there is a chance that Nico will need monitoring after birth for a possible renal/kidney issue, so Hospital it is for us. I usually let the older kiddos pick out the first outfit. I made all of them Big Sister/Brother and a Little Brother shirt already, but that might be for pics in the hospital. It is likely to be below 20 degrees here, so we need to keep that in mind when doing everything. Right now it is like 3 degrees out and it snowed all night again, ugh.

We aren't sure if we're having a boy or girl, so my mother has informed me that she is going to go buy Baby L a wardrobe once she knows, lol...we will probably have her wash something to bring Baby L home in once she finds something awesome!
