That's what I'm thinking too! What is the resell worth if I do this and find I still don't like it.

Re: BGE-wonky soaker?

That is just the way they are.

My sister had the same question.

It never has seemed to bothered any of the kids that I have used them with. I've cd'd 4 with the BG Organics/Elementals.

My sister was afraid to put the bulk up front with her little guy. She was afraid to squish his junk. My baby at the time was a girl so she had "no junk".

She loves them now - 2 years later - so either he grew into them or she did.

It is hard to hate a diaper that absorbs so well and fits under most pants.

But yes a lot of people don't like the soaker.

When I sold a bunch of BGEs in the past the ones with the detached soaker actually sold faster. I like the fit of the detached but since we have to dunk (no sprayer) the attached work better. I adore BGEs but my toddler is allergic to PUL. I am a total minimalist but I am having a hard time listings our last 6 bges for sale even though I know we can't use them. They are a great diaper.

The detached soaker BGE do sell well We had 30 at one time and I detached them all. They fit SOOOO much better. You don't have to sew anything. Just buy a seam ripper and use it to detach the soaker from the front.

I have a bunch for DD and the extra fold doesn't bother her. I put it in the front.

Re: BGE-wonky soaker?

It is really easy to do - I'm thinking of making a video on how to do it because people ask soooo much. As for resale value, it is unaffected: any like new ones I have found locally have it attached and are sold because they bunch funny. Any GUC to well loved ones I find are all detached. They just work better detached.
