Newborn Diapers look like doll diapers???

I think can't figure out if I completely messed up or If I forgot how little newborns are!

I used the Darling Diaper Free Red pattern. I used a 3/8 seam as it said to not add a seam allowance.

Are these just really tiny?

I made those & they literally fit my dd's bitty baby doll. There is no way they would have fit one of my newborns.

Glad to see this...we're expecting twins in July and since I have no idea if I'll go to term or not, I'm making some preemie diapers too. I have this pattern cut out and ready to go...sounds like they might be great for what I want!
