Imagine doublers

I wanted to get the bamboo doublers as pocket inserts but they're $3.95 each for 8 layers, and the xs pf that are 9 layers are less than $2 each. Why?

The XS prefolds are 3x6x3. The bamboo doublers are 8 layers throughout. My guess is the pricing difference is that the doublers are serged all the way around. The XS prefolds will be bulkier on a smaller baby if they are trifolded. Hope that helps with your decision!
