L&D playlist?

I know everyone is different, but what were some of your favorite songs for labor&delivery?

I don't like songs with words when in labor, so I bought a CD at the Dollar Tree that is called Pure Relaxation. It's actually really soothing. I've been playing it in the afternoons for quiet time and plan on playing it during labor.

Re: L&D playlist?

If I'm anything like my last labor I won't want anything on I did Hypnobabies with my last and turned on the birthing day CD and turned it off pretty early on since it was bugging me. I'm doing hypno again and even though I'll have my phone with the tracks on it I'm not planning to add other stuff since I don't think I'll want to listen to anything.

Re: L&D playlist?

I had Lifehouse on repeat and singing along really REALLY helped. I had a bunch of other things on there, but Lifehouse was what kept me grounded. That and Stephan Maccio solo piano CD as well.

I'm planing a water birth, so my playlist has lots of beach songs on it! Lol, kinda fits the theme. I'm a big country fan, so they're country beachy songs (Some Beach, Knee Deep, etc)

Re: L&D playlist?

I listened to Enya. I really felt like it helped me to relax.

For those that like music but not words I highly recommend looking into the band Tycho. I have a playlist of their music for L&D. It is just really calming and relaxing to hear.

Ingrid Michaelson, all songs are good but "Keep Breathing" is a good labor one. Here is a link to a live version
