Re: Milk Supply Struggles and Baby Coming

I would also try eating a bunch. If you haven't already, look up the WAPF recommendations for nursing mothers and pregnancy. You've had a lot of babies and that just eats up your nutritive stores which can make it harder to produce milk. You have to make sure that you're feeding your body plenty to make up for that. Lots of butter and grass-fed meat, and dairy.

Glad to hear the update. I didn't start taking the Domperidone or the herbs until my daughter was six weeks old and my supply was almost nothing. I'm still breastfeeding at ten months.

Didn't read any pp so sorry if dp-

Did babies get checked for tongue and/or lip ties? Will effect latch, then weight gain and will lose supply.
How is your thyroid? Can effect supply.
Calorie intake? Yours should be high. And lots of healthy fats...lots. You need calories to make calories.
Do u sleep in darkness? Sounds random but try total darkness and see if your hormones adjust and help supply (crazy but there's science behind it).
Have you tried - goats rue, or malangay (forgot its commercial name). Goats rue is an herb u can buy in tincture form from motherlove - amazing builds breast tissue can be taken last trimester to get breast ready to produce supply...I took it with ds when he was 5 mo to build up almost non existent supply and nursed til I weaned him at 2yo (I was prego and had issue with all that, long story). Malangay is a plant derived powder that women in ??? Maybe it's Guam? Use for supply. Also amazing and safe during preg and bf.
Hope that helps!
