We recently started calling it nursies, after reading this thread and thinking it was adorable. Lol I also would be really comfortable with hearing her say it out in public. So thanks everyone!

Both girls called it "boobie." Well, DD1 pronounced it "baby" and DD2 pronounces it "boo boo" currently.

I usually combine signing with my babies, so I think I said something like, "Are you hungry? Do you want milk?" So basically hungry combined with milk. We don't go for cutesie names... and you might regret it later, especially if you practice extended nursing!

We started out calling it boobie milk, but it has simplified to just milk. DD is 5 months and I've been signing it with most nursings for the past couple months. Just this week I've noticed when I ask 'do you want some milk?' with the sign she gets excited and starts leaning in for it.
