Laminating Machine...Can anyone recommend a good one?

I was thinking about buying a laminating machine but am clueless as to which kind to buy and would love some recommendations. I'm assuming it's cheaper to buy the machine and the laminating material instead of having them done at Office Depot.

Yes, yes, yes! Get the Scotch one from Walmart. I think it's normally $25. Then BJs (and probably most warehouse type stores) have the laminating sheets for the cheapest.

It's this one on Amazon, but typically a few bucks cheaper at Walmart.

I love ours and can't recommend it enough. (And I used to be a teacher and use a real laminating machine!!)

I have the Scotch brand as well, and it works great. I purchased mine from Amazon, but I was at Walmart the other day, and noticed they carried the same one. They also have all the laminating envelopes in various sizes.

I'll 3rd the Scotch. I have had mine for 7 years and use it lots, still works like a charm. I have found the cheapest pouches at Sam's Club. Like $20 for 200 of them.

I second the scotch thermal laminator. I got my from Amazon when it was the deal of the day. I think I paid about $13 for it. Amazon usually has it on deal of the day every few months. I just kept checking every day and it finally came up.

Thanks! I'm going to check it out and I do have a Sam's Club membership too. With 3 kiddos, printing 3x the amount of sheets can really get costly quick..

It sure can! You can also use plastic sheet protectors to slide sheets into and then use with dry erase markers.
