Hey! Welcome. I wouldn't worry about it. Good things have to happen on bad days too. It would mean that at least for your family the happy memories outweigh the sad.

My nephew was born on Sept 11, 2012. It's was great to add an amazing birthday to a date that has been attached to such tough memories. Congratulations!

It is extremely rare for any baby to be born on his or her due date. If you are a first time mama, it is more likely that you will go "late" since the average gestation is 41weeks 1day. I was nervous about it also since my due date with my DD was Sept 18th but she came on the 24th.

Congrats! My mother actually had 3 of the 5 of us on our due dates but like PP said it isn't common.

I too am due 9/11 too. I have gotten some rather odd gasping responses. Like the mama above said, good things need to happen on bad days too

Ddc. Dd was due sept 17 and was born September 11th, 2010

I think when you get further from the event people won't associate it with being a bad day.

Heck dh was born on "d day" and no one goes "omg your born on d day!"

I know quite a bit of people born on sept 11th which is awesome. Associate it with a good day.
