It's not sticky at all, but rather soft and smooth. And my favorite part was that I didn't have to peel off my nursing pads when I used it, like I did with lanolin.
This stuff is awesome. And it also works well for diaper rash.

I love my earth mama angel baby nipple butter. I recently started using it as chapstick for me when I got a nasty cold and my nose was all chapped too.

From the phone.

Re: Lanolin free nipple cream?

Use coconut oil. It's actually better IMO since it has natural anti-bacterial & anti-viral properties.

Re: Lanolin free nipple cream?

coconut oil was very successful for me! As a vegan, I didnt like the idea of lanolin. And I loved that it is just a single ingredient.

Motherlove is good! I never heard of coconut oil but sounds good to me. Does the coconut oil need to be virgin? I use virgin coconut oil has cream, just wondering. Also my midwife gave me a little cream she made containing local herbs, smells good but the only thing is I need to wash it off because it has Chaparrel.

I made some homemade nipple cream with equal portions of coconut oil, shea butter, and cocoa butter. Smells wonderful and works really well!
