Re: Where is everyone yarn shopping these days?

Re: Where is everyone yarn shopping these days?

Does anyone shop on yarn.com aka Webs? I'm curious if it's really good prices because I live fairly nearby and can go there (though gas would probalby equal shipping LOL but it's a super cool area to go walk around and window shop).... they have a back warehouse full of 'bargain' yarn but I'm not familiar with what's a good price, I'm just about to start knitting longies....

Mosaic Moon almost always has a co-op going on on Ravelry and YLU is always doing co-ops. Otherwise I'm not sure since I'm not shopping right now. Although, if anyone has 2 skeins of MM Dragon's Lair with gray trim on 3-ply merino, I'll bypass "the system" (my DH, lol) and take it off your hands! I never seem to have pp when that colorway comes up and it's one of my favorites.
Oh goodness girl!! We need to get together and trade doll making classes for knitting help.

yep. I've ordered some yarns from there. Malabrigo ♥

As for selling since the virus hit HC it seems like it's a ghost town. All my sales have been customs through pm's emails etc.

I just had 2 co-ops that closed this weekend so my dyes pots will be busy here soon. I might stock some extras.

Re: Where is everyone yarn shopping these days?

I haven't been buying yarn because I have plenty here that needs to be knit up, and not a whole lot of time to do it. That and I have done mostly trades lately.

That's too bad

I think a lot of people are doing coops or Rav destashes these days. That's where most of mine comes from. Sometimes Etsy too.
