Re: Photos of toy storage in the living room please :)
@ moonlightblond...if you don't like the busy pattern on your foam play mat they can be painted quite easily...Google it...I got one at a charity shop and painted it...its nice and comfy and a neutral colour...likewise the primary coloured plastic baskets...paint is cheap safe and makes a major impact...no little ones yet (we are trying) but I do loads of design stuff lol.....another quick trick is some couches which may have a ruffle or a fall of fabric on the bottom will often have just enough room to roll an under the bed box under...

Re: Photos of toy storage in the living room please :)
We don't store any toys in the living room. We live in a small'ish house so it isn't needed. We keep everything in the bedrooms. I do have a basket that use to clean up any stray toys and return them to their rooms.

Re: Photos of toy storage in the living room please :)
this is awesome! I think we just have too much stuff in our living room... tons of book shelves... too big couches for the space... tables...
I want to chuck the couch and just do floor seating.
