What can you tell me about the Boba Air?

I'm intrigued. Do you have one? Do you like it?

Re: What can you tell me about the Boba Air?

It's surprisingly comfy for a carrier made of nylon with no padding. A lot of petite mamas like it because it's doesn't have any "bulk" to it like most buckle carriers, so it fits a little more snug. I think it's a great choice if you are on a budget or need a second carrier, though honestly I don't know if I'd choose it for my "one and only" if you know what I mean. For all of it's pluses, it's not as supportive for long term carrying as buckle carriers with more structure and padding.
Hope that helps!

Re: What can you tell me about the Boba Air?

Well, this would be more like a...fifth or sixth carrier for me (and that's just counting my SSCs) It's still a buckle carrier, right? How robust are the buckles on it? And if you're NOT petite (my DH and I are both average for our respective genders) do you think it would still work reasonably well? And being made of nylon, how breathable is it? (I'm envisioning a sweaty baby). I think the writing's on the wall with me purchasing this one...just don't want too many surprises!

I got one to keep in my car along with my rs. It is great for shorter outings but with no padding I couldn't use it in long stretches

Re: What can you tell me about the Boba Air?

I think it fits average wearers well too. Buckles are solid, that's for sure... The one difference in the webbing and adjusting is that on the Air the shoulder straps only adjust in one direction while in the 3G you can adjust from both. And I don't really think it's much hotter than any other carrier... May not be super awesome for crazy humid summer weather but the nylon is thin, you know?

Re: What can you tell me about the Boba Air?

I did find it surprisingly comfortable for having no padding. But it was very "sweaty" and hot to me. I decided to stick with ring slings for quick trips.

My Mood:
I love mine, it's a second carrier for me too. I love that it becomes its own pouch. I don't find it sweaty at all, but we don't use it extensively. Just quick trips.
