Re: How many plates do you have?

We are only a family of five right now but we have the 8 piece set of large plates, small plates, large bowls, small bowls, cups, etc. Then I have probably another 8 count set of plastic plates and bowls for the kids.

Re: How many plates do you have?

I feel like we have a ton compared to some of you. We are a family of 6 and have in Corelle: 11 Large Dinner Plates (rarely used), 10 Medium Lunch Plates, 9 Small Plates, 14 Regular Cereal Bowls, 3 Smaller Cereal Bowls, and 10 Deeper Soup Bowls plus 6 Ikea Plastic Plates and 6 Ikea Plastic Bowls. I'm not sure why the odd numbers with most of the Corelle unless maybe a couple got broken. I know some of it came in sets and a lot of it we've bought separate matching pieces at Walmart, the outlet store, and a yard sale or two.

Sorry,just now saw this question.

Yeah, it's like one or two big platters. The food is arranged so that everyone has access to everything.Everyone has their own utensils and you eat from the side that closest to you.....reaching across the tray is a no no...lol

Re: How many plates do you have?

Funny, a few years back I never would have thought that I'd be someone with "a lot" of dishes. I have 20 fiestaware sets (large plates/small plates/bowls) and 12 corelle sets. LOL AND I WANT MORE! 20 seems like a ton until it is that time of year where mine and DH's family are visiting--we are a fam of 7 but with 6 plate eaters.

Re: How many plates do you have?

we are 6 (although I don't count the baby yet because he doesn't eat ) and we have 12 adult plates (dh and I use them, plus for when we have company) and the kids eat off of 12 ikea kids plates. I figured 3 for breakfast, 3 for lunch, 3 for dinner, and still some left over before the dishwasher runs. we try to only run it once a day if we can.

Re: How many plates do you have?

We are a family of 6 and we have 16 dinner plates, 16 salad plates, 16 bowls, and like 6-8 Target 1 spot plates. The dishes are the two sets of 8 we got for our wedding. We will probably have those until they break. The kids have just now started using the actual dishes, those 1 spot plates were used non stop for the last few years.
