They are great. Very absorbent. I prefer the snapless. You can get a tighter fit.

We love them here too! I have a dozen new style newborn size for my newbie, such a nice fit and they keep in all that ebf poo!

Here is my little guy, 3 weeks old, between 8-8.5lbs, in the new style snapless newborn workhorse. I had the old style snap workhorse with my DD and prefer the snapless.

I love gmd workhorses because they are a cheap, simple, natural fiber fitted diaper with an attached soaker. They are easy to clean and dry, fit my dd well and keep all of her ebf poo in. I love them. It's all I used for the newborn stage. And now I use them for nights and daddy/grandma diaper changes as I've switched over to flats.

I like that they are inexpensive, natural fibers, absorbant and easy to use. My DH says it is his favorite "go to" diaper. We have with snaps. We do find that there is some gapping at the legs and that the back isn't super tight so we sometimes get EBF poo out the legs or back, but a good cover always contains it. We use Thirsties over ours.

I'm not a huge fan. I find them bulky and harder to fit under covers than snappied prefolds (we only used WH at nb and young baby stage). That said, I saved them for the next kid because they were easier for out and about than folding on a prefold
