Whatever happened to using Sport Wash/Sensi Clean to wash diapers?

I used Sport Wash when I cded my older kids. I did not rinse poo diapers or morning diapers. If it didn't push off easily, it went into the dry pail. On wash day I did a cold rinse, a hot wash with a full cap of SW and sometimes some baking soda with a downy ball of vinegar or perhaps some TTO (which ever sounded good that day, and then two rinses. I never had pockets repel, never had stinkies, never had ammonia smells, and my diapers were so much softer than the ones I am receiving from mommas on FSOT. I washed all covers, pockets, AIOs, fitteds, and pfs together.

I never see anyone recommending this anymore, but sure see a lot of issues with stinkies and repelling. It is made to remove human odors and all residues so that high performance fabrics function well.

It is available in the camping section at WM.

ETA: The online prices are ridiculous. Last time I checked it was less than $5 per liter bottle at WM.

None of my babies ever had rashes unless they were teething either.

Lol, I'm pretty lazy, so I do just about what you described. I never rinse anything, I use a dry pail, and I do a prewash to get most of the ickies off. Then I run a full hot cycle with Tide original and oxyclean, an extra rinse, and toss it all in the dryer. I never separate anything. I don't have time for it. I'm just too lazy to add extra work to laundry.
