I wrote a little post on my blog about looking forward to Valentine's Day. This is what we've done so far (scroll down towards the bottom of the blog post) - Acts of Love countdown and Bible verse countdown. I'm doing another countdown with hubby with small gifts for each day.

The kiddos each have mini mailboxes which I filled with treats that they can open on the 14th. I have a few baking/craft ideas in mind - probably mini candy cane hearts with dark chocolate in the middle &/or peanut butter filled pretzels, handprint cards, etc.

Are you on Pinterest? I have a Valentine's Day board!

I have to make some knitted friendship bracelets and DIY bookmark for friends. No idea what to give my husband yet.

it's kind of 'crafter cheating' but i saw a cute valentine on pinterest that i'm using for my daughters daycare teachers and classmates.

you could also do the same thing but with swedish fish

she has a template on there for a teachers version that says "Our school is cool because of You!"

it's a great idea, especially for little ones who can't have the hard candies and other treats

I have to be honest - I don't know! Whichever way you like, I suppose.

I think the one on the right is correct. Otherwise the heart is upside down.
