Bowflex Treadclimber or Precor Elliptical?

Does anyone have one or recommend one? I have a lot of weight to lose (about 100lbs) and need something that's easy on the knees. I've been looking at used ones on Craigslist, but don't know much about the different models, so any insight would be awesome!

I think Elliptical are the devil so I say first choice without even researching it. LOL

I will add though I have had no issues with the Elliptical and my knees thats for sure. I just HATE them.

elliptical. I have a club quality machine at home, a lifefitness x9i. Its a low impact cardio endurance workout that I can mix in with my marathon training. I like having a low impact yet high endurance training machine that helps keep the stress of running off my joins in the mix. Precor is also the brand of treadmills at all of my local 24hr fitness locations (I live in the Houston area, so 22 gyms in my general area). I like the brand so far, but again the gym models I use are on the higher club quality end of Precor. If you want easy on the joints, I'd go with an elliptical for sure, but on the higher end as you get what you pay for in fitness equipment.

I'm leaning towards a professional quality Precor as my husband used to work at 24hour fitness and fixed those machines for a living so if anything went wrong with it he could work on it.

I do love a treadclimber, my bil bought one. 30 minutes on that and I was super sweaty could feel it everywhere. I found it to be a much more intense workout than an elliptical + stair climber for 45-60 minutes.
