Normal for a newborn to do one giant poop a day?

My newborn is EBF, and takes one really, really big poop a day. It takes him about 5 minutes to do it. He does have a lot of gas during the day and sometimes he gets a little fussy because he needs to go. He will be 3 weeks tomorrow, was born at 9 lbs 3 oz, and is already over 10 pounds. Weight gain is fine and he has a pee diaper almost every hour. I'm assuming he's fine... just wondering if anyone else has had this experience?
