My daughter was already potty trained when I bought these. I just wanted thick undies so she can have good cover under her dresses. She played in them a lot like if they were shorts so they are a bit dingy, but they were never pooped in, so if you want to try some hanna trainers you can see what they are like for cheap.

outside of blue-clay soil stain (not poop stain) from playing in our yard and sitting on the dirt. The inside of the undies have no staining.
I tried washing the dirt out through numerous washes when it happened and the dirt came off most of the trainer but the stain stayed only on the soaker part of the trainer. Its like the thicker padded part retained the dirt. You might be able to see what I'm talking about in the picture.
