nauseous nursing

was wonderin if anyone else encountered nauseuos nursing??? everytime ds latches on i get a bout of nauseia, normal??? i almost think i may be preggos again! i took a blood test @ the doc a few weeks ago and it was neg, i was experiencing the same thing but the intensity seems to be growing!? like rite now!!! illness!!!

I, couldnt nurse during pregnancy. I tried iam 13 weeks now and i had to quit about a month ago because i was so sick from nursing and being preggy. I did the same thing shed latch on and ew i was sick. I hope this helps you and i hope soon you feel better.

I do and I am not pregnant (at least I better not be, LO is 8 weeks old). With my first I always had a weird nauseous feeling, it's why I stopped at 2 months. It's not nearly as bad this time, just every now and then I get it. I have no idea why.

I had that when DS was very little and I read somewhere that it does happen to some women because of the oxytocin that is produced, but that it should go away the longer you nurse. I haven't noticed it for a long time (DS is 10 months now).

I got that way when I was in my 1st trimester If you *are* pregnant, take stride in knowing that it does go away

How old is your LO?
Sometimes, it means that I am dehyrdrated. Make sure you are drinking enough water!

I get that when let down occurs. It is always really bad for me when the babes are little and nursing a ton. As they get older it gets much better and is only bad when I haven't had enough water. I hate that nauseous feeling when you are trying to nurse, but mine doesn't last the entire nursing session, just when let down occurs. Is yours lasting the entire time you are nursing?

I experienced it more early on, and just had another bought of it recently. I'm not pregnant, either!

I have a friend who experiences this. It think it is totally normal but rare. She says it's like morning sickness, but only at the very beginning of a nursing session and then it goes away. I guess it just happens to some women. I had never heard of it before she mentioned it to me.
