we are starting next year with it but only a little at a time my ds still has horrible handwriting as is so I have been waiting

We teach it in 3rd grade. Which is when most public schools do here. (Some do 4th)

My son knows tha basics but we dont force him to use it. Whatever works for him is fine.

We plan to do it for third grade. We are still working on nice printing in 2nd grade!

I will probably introduce it in the fall for my older two. That will be 5th and 3rd grades. Their printing isn't the greatest at this point.

I've heard that there are neurological benefits to learning cursive, something about the fluidity of the motion of the hands. Anyone seen this study?
