Dh wants to make our Facebook, friends and family announcement march 11th right after my first appointment and ultrasound. We plan on getting thing 1 and thing 2 stickers for dd and ds shirts and a thing baby sticker for my belly. We will take the kids pictures and put one of my belly/ ultrasound picture on Facebook.

We told my inlaws last Sunday. We had spent the weekend at the beach and when we got to their house we gave them a stack of pictures I took at the beach. The last picture in the stack was this one:

Well my mom and stepdad know, I swear my mom can smell pregnancy lol. She guessed. I wanted to wait until after the ultrasound but now I'm glad cause she is going with me!

I am enjoying keeping this secret. ;o) We were going to tell after our first appointment on March 25, but I am kinda wanting to wait until after my sister's wedding April 6th now. I just don't want any attention on me during her big day and it's only a month away. If I start showing I will have to tell, but for now we are playing it by ear. This is what I think I will e-mail to family when we are ready to tell:

I took a picture of all our barn boots lined up with the extra pair at the end and put it on a photo card with "Our family is growing by two feet!" We sent them out Wednesday so some people got them yesterday and some will get them today. We've got a lot of positive phone calls about them already, with the exception of one grouchy aunt who emailed, "looks like you spent a lot of money on something you could have said for free." I want to slap her.

We will wait until I am out of first trimester- 2 of my close girlfriends know because they are around me all the time and would have figured it out but not telling the kids and fam for 3-4 more weeks... Maybe Easter?
