Hi mama, I too had to use that as I got a yeast inf from antibiotic i was on. I too bled, and it totally freaked me out as well. I was crampy as well, and you know what? Baby is fine I'm sure yours is as well hun!

Thank you That is so reassuring. Was your bleeding from the monistat or the yeast infection? Im hoping the monistat is working, and afraid that if it isnt I wont see the signs of continued infection. IDK I get paranoid when it comes to internal infections

I was afraid to go to the bathroom for a while and when I did there was a little more blood when I wiped, just a small amount... had some sharp cramps earlier but all the cramping has stopped now... so glad Im going in tomorrow. It's to see their counselor, but Ill ask to talk to a nurse or mw while Im there.

No, it's from the monostat..I really think there is a possible chance I may have put that disposable cartrage in a bit too far. Perhaps it may have either irritated the cervix, or perhaps pinched something in there? But I do remember the cramping, and feeling very nervous about the whole thing. Call your dr/midwife to ask for a quick visit to here the heart beat They are usually very accomodating about it. Just tell them about your cramping and bleeding. I wish you the best of luck hun! I hope it's nothing serious.

Did they culture you to determine that it was yeast? I gave never bled from a yeast infection but have had issues with Strep B proliferation since last fall and I spot with it each time it gets out of control.

I have bled with yeast, but if it feels like you still have an infection after the monistat, totally get it checked out. It could be bacterial.
