Too many layers in an insert?
Is there any downfall (other than dry time) to putting more layers in an insert? They will be surged and normally i have two layers of cotton fleece and a topper of velour (times 2 inserts) but i want to boost the aborbance, but i already have two inserts so i was thinking - two layers of bamboo terry, one cotton fleece with the velour on top all surged in one. BUT (and this may seem like a stupid question) when they are all compresses like that are they as absorbant as if i did two layers of bamboo surged and the velour and cotton surged to make it only two layers thick? Does that make sense? I hope so.

The less layers, the easier to get clean.

Re: Too many layers in an insert?
WHy not try making one of them longer so you can fold it.... instead of stacking more together.
I agree - the drying time is secondary to the getting clean issue.

Re: Too many layers in an insert?
I found that stacking inserts put gaps in the leg holes, which caused leaking.
