One test bk so far...she has c. Diff but Dr is confused since she's not been on antibiotics or anything so I have to find a place to make her compound med...which I think I did but insurance doesn't pay so course 1 of them is $49.00 and its an hour away to phatmacy...which I'll gladly pay to make her better!!! We have to wait 7-10 days for other results to come back they only called because they said the meds needed started ASAP...

C Diff sucks! Good luck mama. Florastor is the preferred probiotic to go along with antibiotis for C Diff. Make sure you bleach your diapers...it is extremely contagious and extremely hard to kill. I didn't want to bleach my pockets, and had to put them away for 4 months to make sure we didn't re-infect DS. He's had it twice...got it at the children's hospital both times. Clorox wipes won't kill it. You need actual bleach.

Google it. It isn't something you want to screw around with, and she should be around other kids til she tests clean for it.

There was a c diff thread here a couple days ago. You might still be able to find it.

I know that you are dealing with bigger things with the c diff right now but I wanted to tell you that happypuffs are gluten and wheat free if you are looking for a dry finger food for your baby. I buy them at a small specialty grocery store but maybe they carry them at a bigger chain like Whole Foods.

Ty mommy...I'll take a look but I live in such a small place we have no stores but next town over has a Wal-Mart and that's it for shopping. Maybe I could do a monthly shopping to a town little bigger an hour away...maybe they'd have it. Either way thank you so much mommy for that info. Can I find them online and buy???

Sorry I should have updated everything came back normal except she had c. Diff with no symptoms and ped can't figure out how she got it. Now she's having another test to see if it's gone and the gi specialist said she had a gritty esophagus so now we have to go get her an allergy test a few hours away on the 22nd. Weirdos she's reverted and refused to drink anything but her milk (formula) won't even touch her juice she loved and doesn't really like much food wise...so we're having to buy more of her high formula...alimentum and hope she'll get better soon...oh and she refuses anything but her one brand of bottles...avent not even her bottles we had as extras...so no more bottles and no more milk and no more juice and no more anything...
