My Mood:
Sewing machine Recommendations for $200 or less?

Yep. Time for a new sewing machine I have a $200 or less budget. I currently have a White (i don't think they are made anymore) and she has been good to me for the last 12 years but I would like something capable of more

I make clothing, diapers and have done some rag quilts. I sew pretty frequently and plan on sewing more often now. What would you recommend?

Don't get brother!! They cost more to fix/tune up than it does to buy a new one! They are also mostly plastic.

Look at janome! My grandmother is a huge quilter, and used to sell fabric up and down the coast to quilt shops. She says the best machines she hears about are Janome's and they are mostly metal still, unlike singer, brother and even pfaff.

This one is under your budget and gets amazing reviews! In fact, all Janome's do! I am so happy with mine.

(Ps., I would pick the $150 model, since the width and length stitch is adjustable)
