Whats the best length for post partum pads?

This is my first baby and want to make my own pads but need to know how long is best and how thick of a pad... Not sure how bad bleeding will be.

10-14" is pretty normal.

Thank you! How many layers for the pad part do you typically use?

Typically, I use three layers of hemp/cotton french terry. Any thicker and it takes too long to dry.

It depends on the fabrics you use. I use two layers of Zorb.

Re: Whats the best length for post partum pads?

My newbie is two weeks old and the overnight gladrags worked perfectly for the first week. I believe they are 14 inches long.
