Lanolizing disana wool cover (1st time)

I apologize in advance if this is a frequent question. Newbie here!

I lanolized my disana wool cover for the first time and used it today. Some pee did go through the diaper so it got a little wet. Doesn't smell or anything but will I have to wash the cover again tonight and re-lanolize it?

TIA :-)

Re: Lanolizing disana wool cover (1st time)

Just turn it inside out and air dry it. The way wool works is even if it gets damp with pee, odor will disperse as it dries and it is supposed to be antimicrobial/bacterial naturally. You only need to wash if it smells "off" or gets poo on it (total bummer when the poo gets on wool!!) and needs to be lanolized when it is no longer holding leaks. I go quite a while between washing and mine smell just like my lanolin wash even after several uses!
